REBUILDING A FLEET OF 789Bs
IEES REBUILD STORY

In June 2018 we were approached by a customer who needed a fleet of 180 tonne heavy haul trucks on site by January 2019. By mid-June we had successfully sourced 13 x 789B trucks, of which 7 units were dedicated to the rebuild program.

SOURCED

Each of the trucks were transported 1,200kms to the rebuild facility in Perth.

They were then all stripped and all the components were rebuilt, chassis' crack tested, all cabs refurbished and all wiring & hosing replaced.

REBUILT

By mid-November, after approximately 4,800 man hours per truck, we were shipping the first four trucks the 9,500kms to our customer's project. The remaining three trucks were shipped early February 2019 and the entire fleet are now working hard in the African mining industry.
